In Vigo County, affordability is becoming one of the most important issues facing our families. Property assessments are rising. Housing costs are rising. The cost of living continues to increase. Childcare and education expenses are placing additional strain on working families. Meanwhile, wages are not keeping pace with inflation.
We must confront this affordability crisis head-on.
As your County Councilman, I will work collaboratively with local, state, and national leaders to identify practical solutions that make Vigo County more affordable. County government must be part of the solution, not part of the problem. That means responsible budgeting, careful oversight of spending, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used efficiently.
I will stand firm against unnecessary tax increases and work to hold Vigo County government accountable to the people it serves.
Vigo County should remain a place where longtime residents can afford to stay and where young families can afford to build their future. We must protect the affordability of our community and ensure Vigo County remains a place of opportunity for everyone.

District 2 deserves a County Councilman who is accessible, responsive, and available to the people they serve. My promise is that you will always have a direct line of communication with your elected representative.
I will maintain a publicly accessible phone number where residents can call or text, along with an open email line so constituents can easily reach me with questions, concerns, or ideas. I will make myself available during daytime hours so residents can count on timely responses and real engagement.
Public service means being accountable to the people. You deserve a councilman who is reachable and responsive, and I am committed to providing that accessibility to every resident of District 2.
fiscal responsibility
The taxpayers of Vigo County deserve a County Councilman who respects their hard-earned money and exercises responsible oversight of government spending. Fiscal responsibility must be the foundation of every decision made by the County Council.
I will come to every meeting fully prepared, having reviewed the agenda and supporting materials in advance so I can ask informed questions and make thoughtful decisions on behalf of taxpayers. Careful preparation is essential to providing the oversight and accountability residents deserve.
I will carefully review county budgets, ensure taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently and transparently, and focus county government on its core responsibilities. We must eliminate waste, prevent unnecessary spending, and protect the long-term financial health of Vigo County.

community engagement
District 2 deserves a councilman who is present in the community and actively engaged in the issues that affect our families and neighborhoods. I will host regular mobile office hours throughout the district, making it easier for residents to meet with me and share their concerns face-to-face.
I will work collaboratively with our County Commissioners, town boards, and town councils to help address community issues and ensure District 2 has a strong voice in county government.
As Vigo County navigates the school consolidation plan, I am committed to open and transparent conversations with residents and school leaders. The West Vigo community is vital to District 2, and I will advocate to ensure it remains strong regardless of the path forward. A strong West Vigo helps ensure a strong and thriving District 2.
